Birth certificate: Unabridged birth certificate showing biological
parents their names; If any of these documents was issued outside the EU,
then translation is required in English.
Parents passports (copy): Parents passports (copy) is required.
Proof of sole custody (in case of a single parent): In case parents
have divorced or one of the parents has deceased, then the same has to be
demonstrated by court/residence order (original to be seen) or death
certificate (original to be seen)
Guardian: The guardianship letter and guardian’s passport should be
attached.
Statutory Declaration: A statutory declaration giving their
permission. The declaration form can be found here.
Consent of both parents:Form 1229 Consent form to grant an Australian
visa to a child under the age of 18 years. If you use this form, you will
have to attach a certified copy of your parent’s or guardian’s
government-issued identification document (such as a passport or drivers
licence) with their photograph and their signature. This form can be found
here.
Undertaking Declaration: Form 1257 Undertaking declaration. This form
can be found here.
Evidence of Enrollment:Evidence of enrollment at school, college or
university.
Australian visas
for citizens of United Kingdom are electronic. No documents need to be
mailed to Global Visa for processing. You will receive your electronic visa
via e-mail.
Business visa
Original, signed passport:Passport must have at least 2 blank pages
for visa purposes, must be valid for at least 90 days beyond the return date
of the trip to Australia and has to be issued within the last 10 years on
the day of leaving Australia.
Passport-size photograph:Two recent (not older than 3 months),
passport-size, UK standard, colour photographs with white background or you
may also upload a photo with your order for us to print (charges applicable)
Proof of Status:UK Residence permit, endorsed in the passport or
issued as a Biometrics card, must be valid for at least 90 days beyond the
return date of the trip to the Australia.
Confirmation of Employment:Copy of a letter from your employer on
business letterhead, with contact details, stating that a leave of absence
has been granted, purpose and duration of the trip, and that you will be
returning to your current job. The Employment letter must be addressed to
the High Commission of Sri Lanka. If you are self-employed, include a copy
of your business license and tax return. If you are retired please submit
proof of your retirement fund. The documents shouldn’t be older than 1
month.
Business Letter:A signed letter from the UK company-The business
letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
• Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position
held in the company by applicant).
• State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings,
contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be
contacted in Australia.
• Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (ie. single entry
business visa).
• Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel.
Business invitation:A business invitation letter from the sponsoring
company in Australia. The letter should be printed on company letterhead
stationery, addressed to "The Embassy of Australia", and signed by a senior
manager (an equivalent to Vice-President or above). The business letter must
adhere to the following guidelines:
• Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position
held in the company by applicant).
• State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings,
contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be
contacted in Australia.
• Specify the type and desired validity of the visa (ie. a one year multiple
entry business visa).
Bank statements:Original or pdf copy of 3 months UK current account
bank statements. Financial ability for travel should show £ 50 per day of
stay abroad and having sufficient funds to pay the cost of travel and
accommodation.
Proof of travel:Confirmed return travel tickets mentioning
applicant’s name and travel dates.
